While this topic has been focused on the glasses, much of the context is about using them with the iPhone, so I don’t think themoderator will be bothered by this.
I have to admit that I have deleted far more messages with the glasses in the subject line than I have read as I doubt I will be buying them, but when I found out that the non-smart Ray-Ban glasses are quite expensive anyway, I was kind of curious what one gets for the extra 50 to 100 dollars with the smart glasses. And, if anyone cares, the name “Ray-Ban” is written with a hyphen between Ray and Ban with capital R and capital B. That is the way the brand spells its name. Though, they come up in searches pretty much no matter if it is written that way or not. Also, if you live in a climate where it gets cold in the winter, you better realize that performance may be greatly restricted, I was on a WhatsApp video call with my brother a week or so ago when it was only -5 Celsius (about 23 Fahrenheit) and after about 20 minutes of being outdoors the video suddenly stopped and Bluetooth disconnected even though my battery level was stil 73%. They are definitely great for some things, but they are not quite yet on par with Geordi La Forge’s visor.
