How can I find the same wall adapter that you are using. Thank you, James B

Ron, only you can make that decision. I think most of us on this list buy a new iPhone and tghen have it for at least 2 or 3 years or in many cases longer. I had an iPhone 13 Pro which I actually bought in 2022, a year after it was first released, because at that point I got a significantly better deal for it compared to buying the newest phone at the time which was the iPhone 14 Pro. I did buy an iPhone 16 pro this year because I use dictationand Siri a lot and I wanted to have access to all these Apple Intelligence features as they are being introduced throughout the fall of 2024 and the spring/summer of 2025. If this is not important to you, there is little reason to spend the money for an iPhone 16 or 156 Pro. In fact, the iPhone 15 Pro which was released in September of 2023 will also support Apple Intelligence and you probably can get a much better deal on it. For me a smaller yet welconme benefit of the iPhone 16 Pro is also the fact it has a USB-C port instead of the Lightning port which means I have to worry even less about having the right cable, all I need when I go somewhere is 2 or 3 USB-c cables now because the headsets I have all use USB-C for charging and even my laptop charges via USB-C. Therefore, I also only need one wall adapter because I have one which has 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port (the older larger USB port). One of the USB-C ports puts out 140 Watts which is more than enough to charge my Lenovo laptop. The second puts out 100 Watts and the USB-A port puts out 30 Watts, if you use all three ports at the same time they can output a combined total of 245 Watts. As for the form factor, I prefer the slightly larger iPhones when compared to the SE model, but I don't want the size of a Plus or Pro Max phone and I also prefer Face Id over touch Id. Your iPhone SEE from 2022 actually has the sam e processor as the iPhone 13/13 Pro family and also the same as the regular iPhone 14 because when Apple released the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro phones inn 2023, only the Pro models got a new processor. If your iPhone SE does everything you want I wouldn't worry about it and continue to use it until you are not happy with it any more or until you feel a new iPhone has features you want and which are not supported on the iPhone SE from 2022 which I think was the third generation iPhone SE. Apple is expected to release a new iPhone SE next spring which I expect will have the same processor as the iPhone 16, but while it may still have a slightly different form factor and a camera system with lower specifications, this phone is expected to also use Face Id instead of Touch Id and it will be a larger phone as well, no longer the small form factor with the 4.7 inch screen. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Ron Canazzi Sent: Monday, December 9, 2024 12:02 PM To: ViPhone List <[email protected]> Subject: What Are The Advantages For Totally Blind People In Getting The Top Of The Line iPhone/s Whenever They Are Released? Hi Group, While monitoring this list, I see that many people are ordering the latest and greatest iPhones: 15, 16, and so on. Now of course, I don't know the visual status of all posters on this list nor would I be so bold as to ask each one who says they have just purchased said models. I myself am totally blind and have an SE 2022 model with minimal capacity 64 GB I believe. I am able to download and install numerous audio related apps as well as home items and their apps and use them very well. I am even able to record with reasonable fidelity direct from SiriusXm and TuneIn apps. Even with the somewhat limited memory capacity, I don't notice any real lag or lock up incident using my SE 2022. According to my sighted friends, the only major issue is the inferior video. So again, is there any real advantage to a totally blind person to go out and purchase the latest iPhone model/s? -- Signature: For a nation to admit it has done grievous wrongs and will strive to correct them for the betterment of all is no vice; For a nation to claim it has always been great, needs no improvement and to cling to its past achievements is no virtue! -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
