Below is a link to the 4-port desktop charger from Hyper Shop directly, it's
regularly $149.99, but shows on sale for $89.99.
I am actually not sure if the one you saw on Amazon is from that brand or if
it's just called "Hyper" because the original one has 4 ports and they can each
output 100 Watts.

Hi Sieghard,
I found a hyper charger with 4 ports for $120.00 at Amazon.
It has 2 ports that put out 100W and 2 that put out 65w. I may get this
charger.
Thank you very much for digging around to help.

Subject: Hyperjuice wall adapter, was RE: What Are The Advantages For Totally
Blind People In Getting The Top Of The Line iPhone/s Whenever They Are Released?

James,

Firs to fall I apologize, but I was wrong about the 245 Watts total output, I
just looked it up on the manufacturer's website and it only has 140 Watts
output. However, unless you are fast charging a new Mac laptop at that
capacity, you can still use all 3 ports to operate 3 devices. I was just away
and I used the 140 Watt port for my Lenovo laptop, the 100 Watt port for my
"Butterfly" charger and I had a USB-A to USB-C cable plugged into the USB-A
port to charge my headset. Hyper does make a 4-port 245 Watt desktop charger
and external battery which I also have and I think I mixed it up. If you are
strictly using this at home I would recommend the 4-port desktop charger as it
has a cable you plug into the wall outlet and into the charger whereas my 140
Watt charger is meant as a compact travel charger with a foldable plug so your
ports will be right down there wherever you plug it into the wall outlet and
while many hotels nowadays have an outlet above the side table or a desk, if
they don't you might be moving furniture to plug everything in. I also find
this charger has one flaw in it's design as the foldable plug is on one of the
narrow sides which means it sticks out from the wall quite a bit. As it's also
quite heavy, this often makes for a not very secure connection and I have used
it in the Philippines where the plug fits in the wall outlet, but it was so
loose that I had to find something to prop it up with. I actually plan to get
myself a short, maybe 2-foot cable I can pluginto the wall first so I can
potentially put this on the ground for such situations. I have seen other
chargers from Anker who are designed the same way and I don't understand why
they don't design it so the plug is on the flat side which means the flat side
would be against the outlet and it would stick out a lot less and the weight
would not be pulling away from the wall so much. Not sure if this makes sense,
but imagine you put a piece of 2-sided tape on a deck of cards which is inside
a cardboard box ro which is still wrapped. You want to stick this to a wall. If
you put the piece of 2-sided tape on one of the narrow, long sides and stuck
that to the wall, it would be very difficult as it sticks out a lot and would
want to pull away from the wall. If you put that piece of tape right in the
middle on the flat side of the deck it would only stick out by the thickness of
the deck, maybe half an inch or a bit more and it would stick just fine.

Anyways, I have these 3 Hyper products because I bought them when they were a
Kickstarter campagne years ago and you could not really find much with that
capacity. The battery pack, by the way, is big and very heavy, fantastic if you
want lots of power, it can run my laptop, but not what you want if you want to
pack light. Nowadays Anker makes many options with 100 Watts and 200 Watts and
they also make a 250 Watt desktop charger with I think 8 ports. I just bought a
200 Watt desktop charger from them during Black Friday with 6 ports and while
my Hyper 245 Watt charger with 4 ports can put out more per port, the question
really is whether it's needed. The Hyper desktop charger and external battery
also have 4 USB-C ports only, the only one which has 1 of the older, larger
USB-A ports is that 140 Watt travel charger.
The 200 Watt Anker desktop charger I just bought has 2 USB-A ports and 4 USB-C
ports which might be a bit more versatile if you still have devices you may
want to charge with a Micro USB plug as they typically have a larger USB-A port
on the other end. Below is a link to the travel charger I have from the Hyper
website, you can explore their site for the other products as well:

Ron, only you can make that decision. I think most of us on this list buy a new
iPhone and tghen have it for at least 2 or 3 years or in many cases longer.
I had an iPhone 13 Pro which I actually bought in 2022, a year after it was
first released, because at that point I got a significantly better deal for it
compared to buying the newest phone at the time which was the iPhone 14 Pro.
I did buy an iPhone 16 pro this year because I use dictationand Siri a lot and
I wanted to have access to all these Apple Intelligence features as they are
being introduced throughout the fall of 2024 and the spring/summer of 2025. If
this is not important to you, there is little reason to spend the money for an
iPhone 16 or 156 Pro. In fact, the iPhone 15 Pro which was released in
September of 2023 will also support Apple Intelligence and you probably can get
a much better deal on it. For me a smaller yet welconme benefit of the iPhone
16 Pro is also the fact it has a USB-C port instead of the Lightning port which
means I have to worry even less about having the right cable, all I need when I
go somewhere is 2 or 3 USB-c cables now because the headsets I have all use
USB-C for charging and even my laptop charges via USB-C.
Therefore, I aso only need one wall adapter because I have one which has 2
USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port (the older larger USB port). One of the USB-C
ports puts out 140 Watts which is more than enough to charge my Lenovo laptop.
The second puts out 100 Watts and the USB-A port puts out 30 Watts, if you use
all three ports at the same time they can output a combined total of 245 Watts.
As for the form factor, I prefer the slightly larger iPhones when compared to
the SE model, but I don't want the size of a Plus or Pro Max phone and I also
prefer Face Id over touch Id. Your iPhone SEE from 2022 actually has the sam e
processor as the iPhone 13/13 Pro family and also the same as the regular
iPhone 14 because when Apple released the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro phones inn 2023,
only the Pro models got a new processor. If your iPhone SE does everything you
want I wouldn't worry about it and continue to use it until you are not happy
with it any more or until you feel a new iPhone has features you want and which
are not supported on the iPhone SE from 2022 which I think was the third
generation iPhone SE.
Apple is expected to release a new iPhone SE next spring which I expect will
have the same processor as the iPhone 16, but while it may still have a
slightly different form factor and a camera system with lower specifications,
this phone is expected to also use Face Id instead of Touch Id and it will be
a larger phone as well, no longer the small form factor with the 4.7 inch
screen.

Subject: What Are The Advantages For Totally Blind People In Getting The Top Of
The Line iPhone/s Whenever They Are Released?

Hi Group,

While monitoring this list, I see that many people are ordering the latest and
greatest iPhones: 15, 16, and so on. Now of course, I don't know the visual
status of all posters on this list nor would I be so bold as to ask each one
who says they have just purchased said models.

I myself am totally blind and have an SE 2022 model with minimal capacity 64 GB
I believe. I am able to download and install numerous audio related apps as
well as home items and their apps and use them very well. I am even able to
record with reasonable fidelity direct from SiriusXm and TuneIn apps. Even
with the somewhat limited memory capacity, I don't notice any real lag or lock
up incident using my SE 2022.

According to my sighted friends, the only major issue is the inferior video.
So again, is there any real advantage to a totally blind person to go out and
purchase the latest iPhone model/s?
