Hi Keith,
Once you turn off this feature to add people you reply to to your contacts, you have to delete those you don't want somewhere, either on the computer or on the phone. It's probably easier and faster to do so in Outlook and once you go through your list and delete all those you want they should also disappear on your iPhone because if you setup an Exchange account whatever changes you make on the PC should sync to your iPhone. If not just delete the account off your iPhone and then set it up again, once again, if it's exchange it will just resync with the server. I posted this a few days ago but didn't get an answer, so here goes again. I have nearly 1,000 contacts on my phone, primarily because I have an Exchange account with MS Outlook and have Outlook set to put people I reply to in my Contacts. I plan to change this. However, I can't figure out a way to get rid of all of the Outlook contacts from my phone, unless I go in and delete one at a time. Does anyone have a better idea? I know that I need to get rid of at least 800 contacts. Keith -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
