True enough about change being the only constant, Carolyn. I haven't done anything with short cuts in the Seeing AI app, but I took a look around it this morning since I hadn't opened it in a bit. I can see why it would be a bit confusing at first, as the reading functions have been given their own tab. Not that it's wrong, but it does take getting accustomed to.

Evan, while I agree that after getting used to the new layout it's perfectly fine, you were always able to sort the channels in the order one preferred, e.g. if you wanted Light Detection as the first/default channel you could have put it there in the old app. You were also able to configure 3 or 4 channels to appear in a quick list if you double tap and hold on the Seeing AI icon on the home screen or you can also set up Siri shortcuts for various channels and I assume this is still the case.
