Today, I tried to get mine to set up facial ID for me with a mask. It had me do it without a mask, with and without glasses, but said it could not do it with sunglasses, which I have. Also, said something about one pair, and I must have 20 pair of sunglasses. Anyway, it said completed, but it just works like it always has, does not work if I have a mask on.

It gets rather insistent that you have one, but you can keep hitting a do not use passcode button and eventually you should be able to set up your phone.
