It appears that I can't get rid of the audio, close it down properly and the only way I have to so do is open an app such as VD scan andthe audio file disappears. It's not the definitive I'm afraid but apart from dicttation that is all I have for now unfortunately. Incidentally this problem has been about for a long time now so wonder if AppleVis know of it and atre they doing anything about it with Apple? I have begun using the dictation button which only needs the single finger double tap.
