Hello, Make sure you restart your phone before calling anyone. That may solve the problem right there. If this doesn’t, maybe reset your phone by pressing and releasing the volume up button, then pressing releasing the down volume button and then pressing and holding the side sleep button for at least 15 seconds then letting go and then your phone will reboot then you can try it that way.
