I agree it might not be the smartest thing to do but I just am tired of having to enter my passcode every time I try to open an ap. When I did have Face ID functioning so I could use Apple Pay Face ID worked 1 out of 5 times maybe and I just didn’t want to deal with the hassle any more.
I wish I had more patience than I do. Previously I had Face ID and Passcode turned off as there is nothing on my phone that is needing that kind of protection. I have never had much success using the Face ID before and just don’t want to bother with it or the Passcode. I have gone into Settings, Face ID and Passcode and turn off Passcode is dimmed.
