I have the 16 pro, and if I call a number like NFBNewsline and hit hide keypad,
the call record button is active.

Which phone do you have?

I'm assuming call recording would not show up if it had been disabled under
Settings, Apps, phone…

Subject: call recording

Well, I finally decided to try playing with recording my husband’s outgoing
message so that I’d have a copy of it if something should happen to my
landline. I called my landline from my IPhone, found the “hide keypad” at the
bottom right, double tapped that, went to the top left and saw “call recording
dimmed.” I waited until the phone was connected, trying to record both when it
was ringing and when The call was picked up. For some reason I can’t get it to
work. I’m sure, knowing my skill level that I’m missing something simple. Any
thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

God bless!
