a good tip this as are the others also.
I just did a test and it's important I think too to bear in mind that
when you do the three-finger swipe-up for the control centre and you
wish to check out notifications you wil need to focus first again on the
status bar and then three-finger swipe down.
I find all these apparently simple little tips make the use of the
iPhone such a breeze.

Make sure you're starting at the very top. I usually put my finger
