Aoison, it may for aestethic purposes of course.
Some foklk with nostagmus may well wnat to gidguese their eyes as they
may roll.
Just my thoughts and it's up to each to edecide for themselves I guess.

Try out the straight sun glasses before you buy them, I had the green ones, and
they were to dark for me inside, and someone else on the list said the same
thing, and ordered new lenses from Amazon. She also had low vision.

I just sold mine but loosely thinking about getting the new generation. Weirdly
enough, they fatigued my eyes. I am extremely low vision, got the transition
lenses, but think if I had to do it over again, I'd get the straight up
sunglasses. Just throwing that in there for whatever it's worth, but, to keep
it more relevant to the list, the Meta View app on iOS is extremely accessible.
The glasses are very easy to set up.

I know this isn’t exactly iPhone-related but I’m not sure where else to post
this, and I know there are a lot of people on the fence about the Meta glasses.
I almost regreted getting them. Meta AI can hallucinate quite a bit, which can
be frustrating.
However I’ve discovered they’re amazing at reading the mail. I had a bit of a
backlog of mail (that’s an understatement) and it was crazy how fast they could
check each envelope. Usually I’d use Aira and it’d take a few seconds to line
up the shot, usually they’d have to take a picture and zoom in, and only then
could they tell me what the envelope was. It probably took a minute to a minute
and a half per envelope.
But the Meta glasses, I raised the envelope in front of the glasses, asked “Hey
Meta, look and tell me who this envelope is from and to” (I’ve discovered this
wording works the best for me), and in a few seconds I have exactly what I
need. If I’m fast enough, I can have the next envelope in place by the time it
beeps again for a follow-up question, so I can work through them rapid-fire as
long as I don’t need to open one.
Aira is probably still better for more detailed work where I want to make sure
I’m getting complete, accurate information, but I can call them when that’s
needed.
