I have found that sometimes you have to re-create the conditions in which the volume was lowered before you can fix the problem so for instance, if the volume got lowered while you were using headphones, then you will need to reconnect the headphones and adjust the volume or if the volume was lowered while you were using the phone such as talking to someone, then you will need to make a call and adjust the volume then you just figure out which conditions were present when the volume got lowered in the first place so you'll have to do some experimentation, but after you fix it it should be fine for everything On Oct 17, 2025, at 11:41 AM, 'Richard Turner' via VIPhone <viphone@googlegroups.com> wrote:  It is very difficult to give a simple answer to your question. Basically, I’m trying to use my iPhone through the earpiece, and the volume is low. I have to raise it so I can hear it. The external speaker is even worse.
