Hi Shane,

Only way to do this is if you sync your iPhone with iTunes, then if you
update an app on your iPhone and want to go back, delete the app from your
iPhone and resync with iTunes. Of course this only works if you haven't also
updated your apps in iTunes already.

I deliberately do this with apps like Skype which in the past was
accessible, then it had areas which were not accessible and it took many
versions until it was fully accessible again. Now whenever there is a Skype
update I install it on my phone and test it and only once I know it works
and nothing is broken I also update it in my iTunes. You can even go into
your iTunes Media folder and the "Mobile Applications" subfolder, find a
particular app and just make a copy, e.g. in Windows do a "Control+c" and
then a "Control+V". In the case of Skype 3.8.1 just to use this as an
example this would mean you still have the "Skype 3.8.1" file and then right
below it you would have "Skype 3.8.1 - Copy". This way if you accidently
update and something happens you can just delete the app, rename the copied
app by taking away the "- copy" part and resync to get back an older
version.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Rolling back in an app

Hi,
I just updated to a newer version of the Dish remote app. However, the app
has a different user interface, and some things that worked before, aren't
now. Its a little more difficult to use now. Is there any way I can roll
back to the previous version?
Thanks.
