Same here, I have been using iOS 26 since the first developer beta and I am also currently using the developer beta of iOS 26.2 which was released the same day iOS 26.1 was released to the public and I would have never noticed this since first of all most of my emails are relatively short and secondly I simply read them by swiping right or in some cases by doing a 2-finger swipe down when I’m at the beginning of the email which starts Voiceover reading it. Also, as a work-around, you can touch the right side of the screen where you’ll hear Voiceover say “vertical scrollbar” followed by the number of pages and, if you are at the top, 0% and then swipe down with one finger and you can this way go to let’s say 60% and then touch the screen and read from there.
