That is interesting. I have not had any issues with sending texts using the compose button, then typing in part of a contact and double tapping on it in the results window and then finding the edit field just above the onscreen keyboard using VoiceOver.

I was in there yesterday and I noticed some obvious IOS bugs. The compose button is at the bottom of your iPhone’s screen. Look for New message or something along those lines. I will warn you that if you use add contact, then search for one, where the search is also located near the bottom of the iPhone’s screen, if SIRI pulls up a contact that it’s found, there is a good chance that you won’t be able to use that contact because the horrible programmers turned all of the buttons, you know, message, call, mail, ECT buttons, into images which make them totally functionally inaccessible!!! Until they fix that bug, you’re still better off using the contacts or threads that you’ve already created that are still there so long as you haven’t deleted them. Speaking of which, I wouldn’t recomend deleting the threads you’re planning on using again that you’ve already created or some one else has already created. For example, I wouldn’t recomend to delete any threads you have with your best friend or family because you can open up their thread and simply, write a new message in to the empty text field at the bottom of their thread, but the catch is that this only works if the thread still exists in your iphone. These useful threads are your short cut because you won’t have to search for their contacts every single time you want to send them a text message, again, only if you have not deleted their threads from your idevices. I never do with my own important threads for this reason. On the other hand, if you’re getting a message that’s clearly junk, then go ahead and delete the junk threads that you’re not using.
