It's doable, but in typical Instacart fashion it's more complicated than
it should be.
I placed an order this morning and realized I'd forgotten something, so
this is how it was for me.
In order to find where to add items I needed to first go to my account,
then orders. I found today's order and double tapped on it.
Once I did this I was taken back into the main screen for the store I'm
ordering from. There was a heading saying the time my order is
scheduled to be delivered. I had to swipe several times to a search
field where I could type in what I was looking for. Instacart popped up
the search results, and I just had to swipe to the item I needed, then
swipe up to the increase quantity on the item I needed and double tap
for that option. A dialog popped up asking which payment I wanted to
use. Once I chose that, the number of items in my order increased by one.
