Since I don't have a pass code or facial ID enabled, would this be causing my iPhone 17 to lock almost immediately after I press the side button? I have raise to wake enabled and so that works when I raise the phone but it almost immediately locks again before I can read anything on the locked screen. This is annoying! I know that the notifications that are supposed to speak on the lock screen get cut off and that this is a bug that hasn't been fixed by Apple but is this business of the screen locking when I just want to read something that has come through on the lock screen normal or would having a pass code or facial ID rectify this situation?
