I believe you do the following:
Activate the Filter button near the top of the screen in Messages.
Then select Recently Deleted Messages button.
Here, select the message or conversation you want to recover.
Then double-tap-and-hold to enable recover;
then double-tap, and double-tap again to confirm the prompt. .

Hi all. In earlier updates there was a way to undelete text messages
by going to edit while in the messages app. I’m not seeing this in
26.2. I’d like to retrieve a message I accidentally deleted. Any
