Regardless of Jaws or NVDA, the new WhatsApp WebView2 interface version is accessible. However, it seems to be a collective hysteria about the new interface because blind folks find adaptation difficult and this version demands using other modes of exploration to move around. With NVDA insert plus space bar (focus mode on and off) will help you navigate the interface as a web page, and place the insertion point where it is required. With Jaws, the trick is insert plus Z (virtual mode on and off). Besides, Doug Lee wrote a script adding a few useful shortcut keys that makes things faster. In all certainty, the new WP is accessible and blind folks maladapted.
