Hello Jane and All, Just a suggestion, how I know when Amazon delivers a package, is I get an email telling me my package has been sent to the order system, I then get an email telling me the package has arrived at my local post office, I then early in the morning I get another email telling me what time they expect to deliver my package, and at last, I get an email telling me my package was dropped off at my location. So when I know my package is at my local post office, I try to stay close to my Computer, and I wait to I get the email saying my package was dropped off, and I then go downstairs to get my package. The last time I placed an order with Amazon they actually called me on the phone to let me know they were out in front of my house with my package. Although, I did fill out on my Amazon account to call me on the phone when they arrive because I am blind. One time Amazon delivered a package for me, and I couldn’t find it outside, so I called Amazon and they told me right where the package was. They told me to look on a light brown chair right by my front door, and sure enough as I did this, there was my package. I’ve also told Amazon a few times I don’t like to have anything delivered by them because if they just drop off a package as a blind person, I don’t have any way of finding it. Amazon told me every time a package is dropped off, they have a picture of the exact location where the package was dropped off, so people can call them and ask them where the package is located and they will tell you. I believe that, because they proved that to me. I know you already ordered a Doorbell, but I’m just giving some suggestions.

Thank you very much for your helpful response. We're supposed to get it tomorrow or Sunday, so we'll be getting it set up then. I appreciate this. Look for the heading “Alert Delivery” and double tap on “Doorbell Calls”. Once you swipe right, you will hear “Doorbell calls, let Ring call you when someone presses the doorbell”. Swipe right again and it will say “Doorbell Call, off”, which I believe is the default, double tap on this to turn I ton. Now whenever somebody presses the doorbell button, it is like getting a phone call and it’s easy to answer. Before they introduced this feature, I found it was often difficult to tap on the notification, then your phone had to unlock and then you had to tap to answer the doorbell. Now you just answer whichever way you normally answer your phone, even a 2-finger double tap will work, but keep in mind to maybe give it a 1, 2, 3 count after you answer so it has time to connect. Our house hasn't got a doorbell, so we've ordered a Ring one, with a year's service. It's supposed to tell me when packages are delivered, and I'm supposed to be able to talk to people at the door. I need tips on using this with my Iphone SE 2. Any tips at all. Jane -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
