I mainly just read updates and occasionally repost something. As I flick through the posts, I’ll often hear something like “John Smith’s job update, 2 reactions, 1 comment, on this post, react, comment on this post, suggested comments.” I’m trying to see how I see what the job update actually is. If I double tap, I’m taken to a company profile page. Flicking up instead offers a more options submenu, but nothing there actually shows me anything useful. Even going to the person’s profile doesn’t actually show what the update was; in fact, the 2 I looked at this morning don’t even look like they changed jobs, so I’m wondering if they maybe just made an edit that LinkedIn is then posting as an update.
