Tony, I haven't really tried it with any books, I prefer more reliable methods… However I've certainly read full sheets of printed text in the form of letters arriving and it's done very well. Would I use it to then keep a copy and do research from, probably not it's a quick if you like quick and dirty means of accessing text you'll get the information but you won't have all the bells and whistles and formatting and all that stuff. It's just a really good quick response app and if, for example, you are looking for a door, or as I have tried, a light switch, it will alert you when it sees one and then guide you towards it, really worth playing with! Enjoy, by the way, I think you did get the Meta glasses, if you did, have you tried OOrion with them and if so have you tried it with reading text? finger at what you want described and keep flicking right
if desired.

Sandy, just to follow up, I got Live Recognition,
and thanks o Richard, and when I did the gesture
Live recognition was activated.
I haven't got around to checking it out further
but the gesture is definitly qworking for me.
Inciddenttally, and it's probably just me! I find
the tofour fingers difficult to do especially the
little finger but I guess practice makes perfect
as they say.
I prsume your iOS is all up-to-date and your
phone is fairly recent.

Sandy, I also have the 16 pro, and just
updated to 26.5.2 and the four finger triple
tap works fine. It is called live
recognition.
