I think it is important to clarify, since people seem to not be understanding where the problem is…at least for me anyway. When I ask Siri to turn the flashlight on/off, Siri does not respond, but the desired action is done as confirmed in the Control Panel. However, when I ask if the flashlight is on, Siri in fact tells me if it is on/off. Also, Voiceover is not involved here; the problem is Siri not reporting when it turns flashlight off/on. When Voiceover needs to read the screen, where status of flashlight is reported, all is great on my phone. In my world, Siri acts properly when I just ask if flashlight is on. Siri does not perform properly when I ask to turn the flashlight off/on. Yes, Siri takes the requested action; the issue is Siri leaves me hanging…doesn’t tell me the action was taken. Again, not a big deal for me…I could ask Siri if the flashlight is on, and Siri will tell me, or I could go to the Control Panel. I just thought it might help to provide detailed facts. I’ve cleared out the app switcher I restarted my phone, I checked the background lighting, it is at zero, my curtain is on.
