I also have the 18 pro running iOS 27.0.1. I am extremely impressed with the new Siri. If you use a voice command to start Siri, either hey Siri or just Siri, it is more like other AI apps where you can respond to Siri saying things like would you like to know more about this, or that. Using the new Siri AI app is also very effective.
The speed of the new phone is very impressive. Dictation is better than it ever has been for me. Do you have all the settings for Siri turned on? Have you rebooted the phone after the initial update? I can understand the dictation errors if you are speaking quickly... Also, I have the new Siri, and I don't think it's much better. It seems like a pain to me. But maybe I am not using it correctly? My biggest complaint, though, is when I use dictation to try and write messages and such. I don't do this in public, mainly when I am at home. I've noticed that sometimes my words are changed up when I dictate something. For example, instead of writing phone, it will write the word bone. Earlier, I was trying to say the word Judaism, and it wrote judo. Then when I tried to fix it, it wrote Buddhism. I know I talk clearly enough. So I'm not sure why these sorts of things keep happening. These are just a few examples. There are more. This used to happen sometimes. But now it seems to be happening more often. What could be causing this? Any thoughts, or suggestions for me would be very much appreciated. And I would love to hear some positive experiences with the upgrade. As well as the new Siri.
