I love my iPad. Apps like TuneIn and iBooks work so much better on it then on my 4s. I admit that it isn't as portable as the phone, but it has its place. Facebook works beautifully on it too.

YOu'll be buying iPads before you know it. On Dec 11, 2012, at 7:51 PM, Raul A. It's already been discussed much on the list the differences between iPad and iPhone and why one chooses one over the other. Personally I'm fine without the iPad and perfectly happy with the iPhone, but someone like my wife and daughter would really enjoy the iPad for the kinds of things you can do on it VS the iPhone. For example, my daughter is sighted and an avid reader. Reading books on her iPhone is not as fun as it is on the iPad because of the text size and because of more scrolling which is done from the iPhone, but the iPad is perfect for her socialization, email, and book reading needs. > > So, I imagine that eventually the girls in my life will convince me to get one or both of them an iPad. Until then, scroll scroll scroll from the iPhone. I keep telling them to just use Nook and Voice Over and let it do all the work. Or better yet, Audible books. But no one listens to me. <smile>. > > -- > Raul A. Gallegos > "I used to sell furniture for a living.
