Nuts.

The only other idea I have is the note below I received from Joney on this list
some time ago. My problem resolved itself, but a cquick search today of "iTunes
not recognizing iDevice" included troubleshooting the Apple Mobile Device she
references. Hope this helps.

Subject: RE: iTunes message when hooking up device -- what does this mean and
what do I do?

I get this from time to time. I went to Apple's help section and this is what
it says to do.

Unplug your I device
turn off iTunes
go into control panel
click on administrative tools
click on services
arrow down to Apple Mobile Device
Right click on it and turn the service off
Right click on it again and turn it back on.
Make sure it is set to automatic
Turn iTunes back and I device back on

It should load then.
I've had to do this a few times. I think it is something going on in the
latest version of iTunes or IOs6.
Hope this helps.

Nope, either. I restart my iPhone holding power button , and home button,
but no iTunes recognizing my iPhone.
Now, what happen if II try to install iTunes 10.x again?
I understand that I might get problems with my library, but if I delete my
library, iTunes create every thing again?
I have all my music save somewhere else, so is not a big issue if I delete
my library, because I have back up of all my music. What happen if I
reinstall iTunes 10.x?
Of course, could be that reinstalling iTunes 10.x, will not fix the
connection between iTunes and my iPhone.

Have you tried to reset your iPhone by simultaneously holding down the Home
button and Power button for 12 to 15 seconds? The risk with this is it may
turn off VO and TripleClickHome, requiring sighted assistance to get them
back, especially if you can't connect to iTunes.

Nope, no way. I did everything that the apple support web site says, and I
can't connect my iPhone to iTunes.
I'd
1. restart my iPhone
2. restart my computer
3. reinstall iTunes.
4. check the USB ports
and iTunes can't see any device connected to my computer, but my computer
when I plug my iPhone, makes a beep, like allways.
What is happening here?
Please!
Thanks for what ever advice.
yurs truly,
Pablo
