Hi,
At home I'm currently using a Netgear router that's a year old and it's pretty solid. I gave my Linksys WRT54g to my girlfriend because she wanted wi-fi in her apartment. It works great with her laptop, but, like Marissa, I have the devil of a time getting my iPhone 4 to stay connected. So it could be a router issue that might be resolved by a firmware update, but maybe the IOS update will take care of the issue, too.

Marissa, I used to have a Linksys router with my previous isp, which worked
perfectly with my Iphone. Perhaps you should take it up with whoever gave
you the router.
Cheers
Alex
