Plus, I'm not sure which is worse, for publicity putting out a release for all devices now or just the ones that are effected. Putting out a release for all devices, may send the message that this wifi bug is more widespread than it really is. I'm sure with the next round of updates, Apple will address multiple issues across multiple devices, but letting this wifi bug keep hanging around costing iPhone users money would end up really hurting Apple's PR in the end.
