You have to plug in your device. Then you go to the device in itunes, once
that device is plugged in. So say Iphone, or whatever its called. On that
screen, click the check box next to aps, and music, and then click sync.
That should do it.

Subject: Request Advice On Syncing Apps With iTunes 11 and iPhone5
Before the iPhone 5 came to me for Christmas, I had acquired several apps
for my iPod Touch 4. After the update to iTunes 11, the iPod will sync
apps, but I can't figure out how to get the music and apps in my iTunes
library into my iPhone 5. Can any one offer helpful suggestions to make
syncing work without having to re-download all the apps to iPhone 5? And
then there is the music in the iTunes library that stubbornly refuses to
transfer.
