Hello Rahul, If what you're looking for is access to ebooks that you can read on your iPhone, I've found that Kobo books fit the bill perfectly. I can purchase them with my French credit card and read them on either my iPhone using the Kobo app, or on my Mac using Adobe Digital Editions.
There is some disagreement about the accessibility of the Kobo app, but I posted an explanation of how to use it as a comment on the Applevis site. Basically, you have to ensure that the page transition style is set to scrolling.
