Hi Bill, I completely agree, but of course you have to keep in mind that especially younger people often spell horribly due to their constant use of texting, Instant Messaging and writing on phones where capitalizing and so on takes more time. It seems nobody cares anymore to capitalize anything, to use proper punctuation or to insert new lines or paragraphs. I quite often see short messages posted to the list where somebody starts out with "hi" or "Hello" followed by a message and then followed by "Thanks" and their name and all without a line break, paragraph break and a single comma or period.
Anyhow, just to add one more word/example to your list, I also spell the word iOS by using a lower case "I" as in "iPhone" or "iPad" but then I use both upper case for the "O" and "S" since after all the "OS" stands for "operating system". This way Jaws and I assume other screenreaders read this correctly as iOS and not ios. You can, of course, do what I did and add iphone spelled all in lower case to the Jaws user dictionary so Jaws will speak it correctly either way.
