I use the free app "Clock Chimes" It has 3 West Minster choices plus it
also has Whittington chimes. You can select from quarterly, half, or
hourly. If you use quarterly, there is no 24 hour chiming mode as the OS
limits the amount of events or so says the app.
The samples are first class digital and there is no background hiss or other
noise. My chime clock starts at 6 in the morning and quits at 10 PM after
it's gone through it's sequence. In other words, you will hear all the
quarters except the last full hour or in my case, you won't hear it chime 11
o'clock PM but you can adjust the start chiming and stop chiming times to
better suit your needs.
One last note, If your on a phone call and the clock starts to chime, just
press one of the up/down buttons on the side of your iPhone and it instantly
kills the sound. If you use a Bluetooth ear please as I do, you can silence
the phone but still hear it through the ear peace if your in a meeting or
church etc.

Subject: hourly chime app?
Does anyone have an app that allows you to set it to go off hourly or
every
15 minutes? I tried chime but I'd like something that has different sounds
for the quarter hour and the half and full hour. Besides which chime won't
allow me to change the sound, even though I set in on Roman it still gives
me the short beep. Anything good out there also that allows you to limit
the
chime say between 8am and 10pm instead of running 24 7, again chime does
allow you to do this but it's not very accessible.
Thanks for any thoughts
Tessa
