Yes, I think you get plenty of warning before making a turn with these
apps. Like I said, I've used all three while driving with my wife. I
find the Apple Maps app is a bit chatty, if memory serves, but as I
said, my usage is limited, but based on my minimal usage, I prefer
Google Maps at the moment. Remember, these apps are all free, so
checking them out doesn't cost you anything but the time. As others have
said, they also don't store data on your phone, so you will be using
data when using these apps out on the road.
