Hi all, Just wondering if there are any tips and tricks to getting as much battery life and performance out of an IPhone and IPodTouch. So far the following is a list of what I've modified, and these changes have yielded pretty good results. Yesterday I charged a new IPodTouch 5th and determined it can run for 9 hours straight in full use and a total of 20 hours stand by. I was at 13% battery power before plugging in for recharging. Here's what I changed: 1. I changed the brightness to 0%. 2. I turned off Bluetooth. 3. I modified Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and alike to only check hourly. I can always do this manually so no need for a semi-constant check which only eats up battery life.
Is there anything else I can turn off until needed? LS -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
