Hi Bill, As Cheryl pointed out, SIRI works fine with the screen locked. I use it all the time when my iPhone is tucked away under my coat and I have my headset on. I press and hold the middle button of the headset remote until I hear the triple tone indicating SIRI is listening. I then say what I want, maybe tell it to text somebody and I always speak my message immediately. It then repeats it and if it sounds good I press and hold the middle button again and tell it to "Send" or maybe if it's a reminder to "Confirm".

What are you asking -- I don't understand the second part of your question. As for the first part of your question; I don't use Siri with the screen locked. It wouldn't respond at all anyway. BTW: I modified the subject line to reflect the actual iOS version number. ---------------- Holland's Person, Bill - "Having an understanding in our relationship does not mean you stand on a pedestal giving me orders." - Bill Gallik, January, 2013 -----Original Message----- From: Richard Turner Sent: Monday, January 14, 2013 8:58 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Siri 6.2 bugs Are you finding that when the screen is locked and/or when using a e hadset? It just sits there clicking away and if I deploy the "Listen" button, the recognition alarm sounds immediately followed by the listening mode. When this happens, I have to dismiss Siri and start over. It sure worked nicely in 6.0; but since 6.0.1 it's been a bit cantankerous. ---------------- Holland's Person, Bill - "Having an understanding in our relationship does not mean you stand on a pedestal giving me orders." - Bill Gallik, January, 2013 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
