You can pair with more than one but then you have to turn one off or be out of its range to use another. I've done it with two and in the Apple store questions I found people who had paired with three devices. it was warned that there may occasionally be problems and that it will tend to pair with the computer first so definitely don't be near your computer when trying to connect to something else or turn the bluetooth off on the one you don't want to connect with.
