You should be able to pair a bluetooth device with multiple iDevices, but you may need to turn the bluetooth device off and on before going from being paired from one to the other. As long as you're not in range of the other iDevices, or as long as neither of them are using the Bluetooth device, it should be fine. I do this with braille displays at work quite often.
