I agree that not all negative reviews are correct in their assessment, but
there probably is a reason why every single app that does this and that I
ever checked out doesn't seem to do what it claims to do. There are,
however, apparently plenty of jailbreak blacklisting apps which do work so I
assume it's got to do with how apple limits these apps to access whatever
information they need to work properly.

The times I have tried to create an account, I was given the error message
that the information did not go through, or that my log-in was not
successful. I think that reviews can be taken with a grain of salt at times,
but it appears that the reviewers might have been correct on this one. I
will try again but then will delete the app. Hopefully someone will come up
with a good app that does these functions and actually works.
