Hi Rose, you don't have to write in uncontracted Braille with Access Note, but if you want to use any of the Braille shortcuts, then you need to toggle contracted Braille off for them to work.
Dropbox is a cloud-based storage system. I'd recommend it, because what's nice is that you can put files into the Access Note folder from your PC and they'll be available to open and edit on your phone, and of course when you save a file in Access Note, it just magically appears on your PC too.
