Hi all. As many of you know, I'm a fan of jailbreaking. If you don't
care about jailbreaking, then this message isn't for you. If you are
interested in jailbreaking your iDevice, then you can read about it by
Googling for jailbreak iOS 6 evasion, or by reading other messages in
this list or the list archives. At the end of this message is a link to
a web site which has the most recommended jailbreak tweaks and apps for
your iDevice. I've tried many of these and most are very Voice Over
friendly. For example, activator, SB Settings, and Springtomize are
totally VO friendly. Winterboard has a flaw in that you can't tell which
theme is selected. When you double tap on a theme, VO doesn't say
selected or not. So, it's guess work and remembering which theme you
enabled since you can enable multiple themes at once. I usually only
have 1 at a time for most things, so it's no issue. I've written to the
Winterboard developer to see if he can fix this. In any case. Check this
out, and find out some of the cool things you can do with your
jailbroken iPhone. Remember that jailbreaking isn't for everyone.
Remember that it's not illegal. Remember that jailbreaking isn't the
same thing as unlocking. And most importantly, remember that
jailbreaking won't make you go blind or send you to hell.
