Hi Fanus,

If you want to read the article, try the link without the probably
accidental "a" in front of the "http". Here is the proper link:

ockup-5-inch-iphone

Anyhow, the article is pure speculation and somewhat follows in line with
the Apple bashing that has been going on for a few years now. Everybody has
great suggestions as to what Apple should or should not do and how they need
to come out with a 5 inch iPhone and all that. I for one would not want to
carry around half a tablet size phone and I would be very surprised if Apple
indeed did come out with a 5 inch model. I think if they had planned to do
so they would have left the original 3.5 inch model alone and added a 5 inch
model on top of that.

Samsung and some others may dash ahead with some of these rather dubious
technologies like NFC, but until Apple picks up on them and in many cases
improves on them they often don't go anywhere. NFC is a good example, it
isn't widely adopted at all at this point, there are serious security
considerations and while I believe the future for especially small payments
of maybe up to $20 or even $50 is in that technology it doesn't appear ready
for prime time. One of our large banks in Canada recently announced some
sort of payment system for up to $50 amounts, but I believe it's one 1
Blackberry phone you can get and maybe one or 2 other phone models and there
is one or 2 chain stores that accept it. So until it's out there at every
store and available on the iPhone along with a few other models of phones
which make up the lion share of the smartphone market I don't see the point.

While Apple revolutionized the smartphone market barely 6 years ago, they
have now been putting out technology that works and is safe (with a few
exceptions like Apple Maps), but sometimes it's better to go a bit slower
and make sure what you release is stabil, secure and user friendly than to
rush ahead with products or services that are half finished.

As far as the camera goes, Nokia had a 12 MP camera in some of their phones
for years, but the 8 MP camera on the 4S and 5 still takes better pictures.
Just because one car has more horsepower than another doesn't mean it's not
as good or better.

I wouldn't disagree with the fact that we may see a new iPhone in June this
year, but at this point only Apple would know that for sure and I'm sure we
hear many more rumours in the next couple of months.

Hi Allan
When I try to open the link it says I need a program to read
the web content. Is there another way to get the info?
Regards
Fanus

Here is the story I was reading about the iPhone 5S and what
features it's likely to have.

This article comes from iPhone Live Magazine. They have a
free app for it as well.
