Hello all, I want to keep my iPhone 5 in tip-top shape so was wondering if anybody has any insight on the correct way to clean it. I read the following support article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3226
In a nutshell, they tell you to use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth, to avoid household cleaners, and to avoid getting moisture in openings. A couple things I'm not clear about. Firstly, I'm wondering whether a tiny dot of dish soap on the cloth would be okay--not dish washing detergent, but just plain old dish soap. The article didn't really make that clear. It instructs not to use solvants or abrasives, but I guess I'm picturing that to mean bleach, windex, alcohol, shoe polish, that kind of thing as being no-nos. Also, when they say not to get moisture in openings, is it fine to lightly wipe the surface with the lightning connector and headphone jack, or should I completely avoid these areas? Thanks.
