I'm not sure how, but the repeat function must have gotten turned on in
settings. Go into settings and then to messages and you can turn this off.

Hope this helps,

Jenn

Subject: Repeating messages

Hi all,

Since updating to the latest version of IOS, I now get duplicate
announcements of the same message. Here's a description of what's happening:

My phone is locked, and when a message comes in, VoiceOver announces the
notification and reads the message;

Then, a few minutes later, the same thing repeats.

I'm wondering how to stop this.

This happens just with messages and not with other types of notifications.

Thanks for the help!

Lisa
