I'm a little unclear as to what's being done here, but you may also need
to use the pinch gesture to select the text. Use the roter to determine
characters, words or lines. this will determine how much text is
selected with the pinch gesture. Make sure the cursor is on the text you
want to select, you made to adjust with trial and error a bit, and place
two fingers on the screen very close together. Now as you move your
fingers apart, text should be selected. Once you have the text you want
selected, you'll see cut and copy options in the Edit menu of the roter.
