Hi, I honestly can say I've never encountered such a bug, and haven't heard anyone else talk about it. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist on your device of course. I just took 25 screen shots in a row on my iPhone 5, and another 25 on my iPad mini. It worked 100% of the time. I press the home button first, then quickly press the power button.
