Thank you for the great explaination!
One more question.
If I make a file a favorite and it downloads to my phone, then later on
decide I do not want it on my phone anymore, but still want it to remain on
dropbox, is there a way of deleting it off of my phone without deleting it
from dropbox?
Thanks again for the help!

Subject: Re: Dropbox and the cloud
Hi Chris,
Dropbox is a cloud service; it stores everything in your Dropbox folders on
its servers. If you install the Dropbox app on your phone, you'll be able to
access everything you have stored in Dropbox. It will be streamed from
Dropbox to your phone when you open it. It is only stored on your phone if
you make it a favorite. So it will have no effect on your iCloud storage or
the memory available on your phone unless you add files to your favorites.

Anna

Hello All,
I want to put dropbox on my IPhone.
Someone told me that dropbox files on your IPhone are stored in the cloud
and not on the actual phone.
My question is, does the cloud limit you to a maximum of storage space?
I have a ton of pictures stored on Dropbox. When I say a ton I mean
almost 11,000 pictures coming to about 27 GB of space.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
