Debbie: I'm not sure what computer system you're using, but, I'd get them on to it, pull them in to audacity & export them from there as MP3's. Just be aware that M4A is a compressed format & converting them to MP3 will compress them even further. If sound loss isn't any big deal, this should work out just fine for you.
