Hello there. In addition to what Richard and Chuck have already said, this app was featured in a CNN article listing some of the 20 most best apps of late. This tells me that the app is getting some notice by a lot of sighted people as well. One thing which is really good about the app is that as long as you have an idea of where the letters are, you do not need to be 100% accurate. This reminds me of the predictive texting that many nonsmart phones like some from Nokia phones have. Some people would have said the price was a con because it was rather high. However the app is now free so that should not be an issue. In my specific case, it has not increased my typing by 50% like it has with other people. This is because I already typed rather fast on the iPhone due to the tactile dots from the screen protector I have on it. However it has helped increase my typing a little. If I am going to write a rather long email such as this one, I will probably use Fleksy or I will dictate. If I am going to write a short email or just send texts, I will usually not use it because of how fast I already type. It would not be more efficient using the app and then copying the text and then pasting it into an email. So, in my case I use it some of the time but not all of the time. I know this does not directly answer your question on the good and bad of this app. However I am hoping that may be based on my experience with it, along with the experience of other list members, it will help you make a better informed choice as to whether this is something that you would benefit from.
