Hi Shirley, Digit-Eyes is probably the best and easiest to use app, but you still have to find the barcode. Having said this, they give many good examples on their website where barcodes are typically located and on many products I find it not too hard to find them at all within anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds.

If you can't, and don't have any help, it probably isn't worth getting an app for that. I've never tried one in a store but I think I've heard of people who have. When they work they can be very nice because you can get package directions and nutrition information. Maybe there is something out now that can find the codes quickly.
